Beskrivning
Càrn Bàn Mòr in the Highland Cairngorms looks over snow patched mountain folds, with heather, pale rocks and a winding valley stream beneath a wide blue spring sky.
Above Glen Feshie, this broad Cairngorms top forms part of the high ground south of Sgòr Gaoith. A well established path climbs from Auchlean onto the open plateau. The route continues north towards higher summits, leaving the wooded glen for an extensive landscape of upland slopes.
The panorama from Càrn Bàn Mòr crosses several rounded hills carrying broken white snowfields. A narrow pale line drops through the central hollow towards green valley clearings, where a blue stream winds between dark trees. Pink brown heather and large grey stones cover the near slope. Puffy white clouds rise above distant blue ridges, suggesting a clear late spring day with winter lingering on the heights.
