Beskrivning
Brandy Cove curves beneath a wooded cliff near Portling, with a dark rock opening, a small shore building and narrow surf lines washing across the pale sandy beach.
Brandy Cove lies near Portling in Dumfries and Galloway. This outlook follows the beach towards its enclosing face, keeping the cave and modest building in the same small stretch of shore. Turquoise water turns gently along the sand, and the distant green headland opens the cove towards a wider coast.
Rounded dark boulders lie across the nearest wet sand, separated by shallow pools. Farther along the shore, a broad cave mouth interrupts the cliff face. A low pale roof sits beside it, with trees and dense shrubs covering the top of the rock.
