Beskrivning
Beinn Tharsuinn (Ardross) in the Highlands shows a modern upland skyline above blue water, with white turbines and green moorland set against soft cream clouds on a clear day.
North of the Cromarty Firth, the Ardross hill reaches 692 metres and carries a windfarm on its northeastern shoulder. This is the eastern Highland Beinn Tharsuinn, distinct from other summits sharing the name. Open upland slopes and nearby forestry characterise the surrounding Ross-shire hill country.
Across the water, the rounded ridge of Beinn Tharsuinn (Ardross) carries white turbines spaced along its crest. A pale access track curls uphill between them. The near shore has a small sandy curve and a fringe of light grey stones below green scrub. Reflections darken the blue water, while bright grass and high clouds suggest a clear summer afternoon.
