Beskrivning
Beinn Tangabhal (Barra) rises above a chain of islands and the Vatersay Causeway, under a glowing peach and violet sky in the last warm light of day.
The place note identifies a view towards the Vatersay Causeway and Beinn Tangabhal from Heiseabhal Mor, and Eilean Siar is the supplied region. Those named features are arranged across the middle distance, with water separating the low islands. The foreground hillside provides the elevated viewpoint described in the note.
A dark, rounded hill forms the central silhouette, with lighter ridges behind it. Below, a narrow causeway crosses the water between low green landforms; several small boats are visible nearby. The sea reflects a warm orange band near the horizon, while the upper sky shifts from peach to mauve around clustered clouds. A rocky grassy slope frames the scene along the bottom edge. Beinn Tangabhal (Barra) remains the named focus of this island view.
