Beskrivning
Acharn in Morvern, Highland, offers a calm blue river between grassy margins, with yellow gorse and reflected trees bringing a bright spring freshness to the quiet rural view.
In the Aline Valley of Morvern, the locality has a documented prehistoric landscape as well as a later farm settlement. Excavations around Acharn investigated several cairns, while flints found near the farm provide further evidence of early activity in this part of Lochaber.
A broad turquoise channel bends gently past green fields and rounded deciduous trees. On the left, a low stone boundary follows the bank beneath a large leafy canopy. Yellow flowering gorse fills the right foreground, with softly rounded tawny hills beyond. Strong reflections and small horizontal ripples suggest quiet water. Fresh leaves and yellow blossom give the scene an early summer atmosphere under high white clouds.
