Beskrivning
A' Chraileag in the Scottish Highlands sweeps upwards in green and ochre folds, its grey rock ribs and drifting summit cloud giving a broad mountain flank dramatic depth.
North of Loch Cluanie and south of Glen Affric, this 1,120 metre Munro is the highest peak along Glen Shiel. Also named A' Chralaig, it belongs to the Northwest Highlands, with an established approach from the A87 near the Cluanie Inn.
A long ridge of A' Chraileag crosses the view diagonally, with dark crags interrupting its grassy face. Small blue pools appear on the lower left, while grey foreground slabs carry patches of muted brown vegetation. White mist brushes the upper crest beneath a much brighter cloud bank. The mostly snow free ground and warm grass tones suggest late summer, with passing shadows emphasising the hill's successive ribs.
