Beschrijving
River Wye is captured through a beach framed by sweeping dunes, giving this view a expansive character that reflects the scene’s particular setting for a visitor.
Pale sand curves around a wide bay, with green dunes and scattered rocks bordering the shore. Repeated white waves meet the beach, while distant land fades along the horizon. The generous sweep of coast gives the view a spacious, breezy mood.
The River Wye runs through several distinct settings, and this image depicts an open coastal bay. The curve of the beach and the low dunes frame a long view along the water, with the distant coast marking the scale of the shore. A visitor can follow the curved beach and see how it meets the surrounding land, a defining detail of River Wye.
