Beschrijving
Porth Ysgo in northwest Wales reveals a small pale beach beneath steep grassy cliffs, with scattered tidal rocks and clear blue water in bright summer sunshine.
Porth Ysgo is a small cove east of Aberdaron on the Llŷn peninsula. A steep approach passes through Nant y Gadwen, where manganese was once mined. The shore combines sand with rocks exposed at low tide, and a waterfall descends near the beach access.
Green and gold slopes fall steeply down the right side of the cove to a small cream-coloured beach. Dark stones and seaweed break up clear shallows, changing offshore to a richer blue. A low grassy rock stands offshore, with receding cliff bands behind it under high cream clouds and clear summer light.
