Beschrijving
The Marshlink Line runs between a small station and wooded track, its rails drawing the eye towards the distant bend, leaving the view open, calm and easy to remember.
Two platforms flank parallel rails that converge towards the centre of the view. A simple shelter stands on the left platform, while signal equipment and overhead lines mark the railway. Mature trees enclose both sides, with bright cloud and blue sky above the open corridor.
The Marshlink Line links Hastings and Ashford through the low-lying countryside of East Sussex and Kent. The quiet platform and narrowing rails suggest the smaller stations along the route, where woodland often closes in near the track. For regular passengers, the view may recall the wait before a train appears between the trees.
