Beschrijving
Liphook’s village street is lined with red-roofed buildings beneath leafy branches, creating a settled, familiar mood in this illustrated view in this illustrated view.
The road curves past a row of white-fronted shops and houses, with a larger brick building set behind them. Tree branches enter from above and cast shade across the pavement. The street is empty, leaving the windows, rooflines and bend in the road clear. A blue sky opens beyond the rooftops.
This view gives Liphook the scale of a place encountered on foot, with the street leading between its older buildings. Brickwork, tiled roofs and shopfronts sit close together, while the curve hints at more of the village beyond the frame. For someone who knows the area, these everyday details can bring back the quiet centre and its leafy approach.
