Beschrijving
Glen Rosa & Goatfell brings a strong mountain presence to an island connection, with bright water below open slopes offering an inviting contrast to the rough heights beyond.
Low cloud drifts across the upper rock shoulder without hiding the highest point. Pale stone streaks descend through dark faces, and a thin white stream zigzags along the central hollow. At the lower slope, a cream sandy margin curves beside turquoise water, framed by near shrubs and grey boulders.
Glen Rosa & Goatfell is led here by the relationship between the central peak and the gentler valley beneath it. The water and grass give the mountain room, allowing its exposed upper surfaces to retain their weight. An affection for mountain journeys can settle into that progression, from the accessible lower ground towards the more demanding crags above.
