Beschrijving
The Glascarnoch River winds between Highland hills, its blue water drawing the eye through a broad, sunlit valley and towards the distant mountain slopes.
The river narrows towards the centre of the view, where it bends between low hills and pale banks. A winding track follows the water on the right, while ochre grasses and scattered rocks fill the near slope. Layers of blue hills recede beneath a wide sky crossed by soft clouds.
This view of the Glascarnoch River follows the water into the Highland distance, with the valley opening out on either side. Its bends connect the foreground to the far hills, giving a clear sense of the route through the glen. Those who know this area may remember the changing ground colours and the long views across the water.
