Beschrijving
Gearran Island sits low across calm blue water, its broken rocky outline backed by hazy hills and a large, bright cloudscape beneath high clouds and a clear horizon.
The place facts name Gaeilavore, Gearran and Am Bord, and identify Gearran Island. In the image, a low island stretches across the middle distance, with exposed rock faces beneath a thin covering of green. The view is framed from a rocky, grassy shore and looks across open water towards the island and distant hills.
The nearest slope enters from the lower left, where pale stones break through short green grass. Across the water, several dark cliffs rise from the island, separated by lower green sections and small coves. A tiny boat sits to the left of the island. Blue water fills the foreground, while soft bands of distant hills and high white clouds complete the layered view.
