Beschrijving
Fionn Bheinn rises above a dark band of woodland and water, its broad green summit giving this Highland view a calm, open mood, creating a calm sense of place.
The mountain occupies most of the scene, with a rounded ridge descending towards the loch. Thin cloud crosses a pale blue sky, while a low strip of distant land meets the water beneath the slope. The restrained palette separates the open hillside from the darker foreground.
Walkers approaching Fionn Bheinn may recognise the gradual sweep of the slopes and the contrast between high ground and lochside. The image gives the mountain room to dominate, recalling the long view that opens across the Highland terrain. The mountain holds the skyline above the loch, leaving the lower water as a quiet counterpoint to the broad summit.
