Beschrijving
Fenny Bentley appears as a whitewashed village house beside a small stream, its red roof and garden lending the Derbyshire scene a calm, settled mood.
The house sits left of centre beneath a leafy tree, with a red roof and pale walls facing the water. A low stone edge follows the stream across the foreground, where green reflections interrupt the blue surface. Beyond the building, open grass and a few distant rooftops sit beneath a bright sky, keeping the view gently rural.
Fenny Bentley lies in Fenny Bentley, Derbyshire is shown as the Derbyshire Dales, and this view centres on the kind of quiet water and village buildings that shape its rural character. The stream leads past the house before slipping out of sight, while the tree canopy gathers above the roofline. For someone who has walked through the village, the scene may recall the close connection between its lanes, gardens and the surrounding countryside.
