Beschrijving
Faochaig’s steep green slopes descend to a quiet sea loch, with distant hills framing the Highland shore, with the surrounding view held in soft natural light.
The water fills the lower half of the view, leading towards a narrow shoreline beneath sharply folded hills. Exposed rock and bright grass mark the slopes, while darker vegetation traces the gullies. A pale cloud hangs above the ridgeline, and the far shore fades into blue distance. The near bank includes a few scattered stones and low plants. The strong diagonal of the mountain side meets the level water at the centre.
The meeting of steep ground and sheltered water gives Faochaig its particular Highland character. The shoreline is narrow, with the mountain rising almost directly behind it, while the far hills show how the loch continues beyond the first bend. Stones and low plants bring the viewpoint close to the edge.
