Creag Mhor (Sutherland) in the northern Highlands catches gold evening light across open hills, with purple heather, long grassy folds and a glimpse of water beneath a peach coloured sky.
The Ben Armine hill group lies southeast of Ben Klibreck in remote Sutherland. Its higher southern summit reaches 713 metres and is classed as a Graham. Broad moorland surrounds the paired tops, with Strath Skinsdale lying between the hills and viewpoints farther to the south.
Creag Mhor (Sutherland) appears as the higher left hand crown of two long rounded hills. Low sunlight picks out ochre strips along their shoulders, while the steeper faces fall into mauve shade. Dark purple heather interrupts coarse golden grass in the foreground. A sliver of reflective water appears at far left, beneath peach clouds and a lavender sky that suggest a still autumn evening.
