Beschrijving
The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape lies in North Wales, where heather-clad hills and ancient hillforts lead towards the Dee Valley’s cultural and industrial heritage.
A dark ridge slopes into a broad valley patterned with fields and wooded hills. A low hillfort silhouette sits on the near crest, while broken cloud shadows cross the higher ground. A pale building appears far below, small within the wider view. Sunlight reaches a few fields near the valley floor beneath the heavy cloud.
The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape spans North Wales. Its heather-clad hills and ancient hillforts stand alongside historic towns and villages, while the Dee Valley carries cultural and industrial heritage. The area is one of Wales’s five Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
