Beschrijving
Church Cove brings the character of a small Cornish landing place into a room, with the narrow inlet and former lifeboat house keeping the coast at an intimate, recognisable scale.
A steep stone slip descends between dark rock faces. On the left, a small cascade falls over the ledge towards the water. A timber door fills the cropped gable at the right, beside a simple table, while blue sea opens beyond the near blocks of stone.
This Church Cove is at Landewednack on the Lizard, where the former lifeboat house stands beside the inlet rather than a wide sandy beach. The building stays at the edge, leaving the slip and water connected through the centre. It suits someone drawn to practical coastal places, where access to the sea has shaped the immediate ground and the structures beside it.
