Beschrijving
Chappel in Essex carries the railway high across the Colne valley, its long brick viaduct bringing a bold Victorian rhythm to fields, flowering hedges and open sky.
Built between 1847 and 1849, the viaduct at Chappel crosses the River Colne in Essex. The structure was designed by Peter Bruff for the railway linking Colchester with the Stour valley, and remains a conspicuous marker of Victorian engineering in the countryside.
Red-brown arches recede in a long diagonal from the upper left towards distant trees. Deep shadow fills each opening, while white blossom spreads across the bushes below. A pale gravel track curves beside the grass, catching the same bright light as the brickwork. Small yellow flowers punctuate the greenery, and the blossoming hedges suggest a clear spring day beneath scattered white clouds.

Elke print wordt op bestelling gemaakt met 12-kleuren giclée-druk op FSC-gecertificeerd archiefpapier. Ontworpen in Groot-Brittannië en gedrukt in het dichtstbijzijnde productiecentrum om verspilling tegen te gaan en de levering te versnellen.

Verzorging & reiniging

- Stof voorzichtig af met een zachte, droge doek
- Vermijd langdurig direct zonlicht
- Gebruik nooit vloeibare reinigingsmiddelen op het oppervlak van de print of het canvas
- Bewaar in een droge ruimte op kamertemperatuur
- Hanteer prints met schone, droge handen
