Beschrijving
Conwy Castle rises above the estuary in this view of Castell, its pale stone towers giving the waterside town a quietly watchful presence in north Wales.
The castle’s round towers form a broken line above the water, with a wooded slope to the left and clustered rooftops below. A stone bridge crosses the lower right, while distant hills sit beneath bands of cloud. The broad stretch of estuary separates the foreground town from the castle walls.
Visitors to Castell know how closely the medieval walls sit beside the water and the town. This view gathers those familiar layers into one scene, from the bridge and roofline to the towers across the estuary, with the hills of north Wales beyond.
