Beschrijving
Beinn Mhealaich in eastern Sutherland, Highland, rises gently above bands of golden grass and dark heath, its rounded profile giving the open countryside a quiet and spacious autumn character.
The hill country inland from Helmsdale extends towards Glen Loth in eastern Sutherland. Within this broad upland area, the named summit forms part of a landscape of rounded heights above the coastal settlements, with open ground connecting the surrounding valleys and ridges.
Beinn Mhealaich appears as a low rounded crest beneath a deep blue sky. Dark brown plants stripe the green and gold slopes, with a few tiny pale stones visible high on the face. Long grass blades fill the lower left, catching light above cool olive shadows. Cream clouds gather overhead, and the warm moorland colours suggest early autumn in clear afternoon sunshine.
