Beschrijving
The tall glass tower beside Basildon’s modern civic building gives the scene a crisp, upward note against the open sky, with a calm feel.
A broad paved square fills the lower part of the image, with the yellow brick building stretching across the middle. Large dark windows sit between pale stone surrounds, while a pair of trees partly screens the façade. The separate tower rises on the right, its pointed roof finished with a cross. Long, thin clouds cross the blue above.
Basildon’s composition centres on contemporary civic architecture, offering a recognisable moment for residents who pass through this public space and know the tower’s distinct silhouette. The scene gives a grounded impression of Basildon through these visible details.
