Paulus Potter was a Dutch painter active during the seventeenth century. His work included genre, history, and animal painting. He belonged to the Delft school and the Baroque movement.

Biography
Potter produced life-size pictures, though he also focused on smaller-scale depictions of meadows containing horses, cattle, and sheep. He spent the final years of his life in Amsterdam.
