Beschreibung
Stob Binnein in Stirling follows a broad stony summit path above a white cloud sea, with short green grass and a distant pointed peak in the clear light of a summer afternoon.
This 1165 metre mountain is joined to its slightly higher neighbour Ben More. The two summits are usually climbed together from Benmore Farm to the north. A separate southern approach begins at Inverlochlarig, entering the high ridges above the upper reaches of the surrounding glens.
Stob Binnein has a pale stony path running across short green grass towards a small rocky cairn. Broad grey slabs and scattered loose stones cover the near summit ground. A dark pointed peak rises beyond a thick white cloud sea that hides the intervening valleys. Clear upper air and snowless turf suggest a summer afternoon high above the mist.
