Beschreibung
River Bure in Norfolk holds a line of moored boats between leafy banks, with a white waterside building and foaming weir reflected beneath the wide blue sky of summer.
Rising near Melton Constable, this Norfolk chalk river flows through much of the Broads before joining the Yare near Great Yarmouth. Its route passes Aylsham, Coltishall, Wroxham and Horning, connecting inland settlements with the lower tidal waterways and their extensive boating landscape.
A white cruiser with blue ropes fills the near left bank of the River Bure. Smaller boats recede towards a white gabled building above two dark arches and a low weir. Tree reflections ripple across the green-blue water, while white flowers grow among the foreground grasses. Full foliage and clean white clouds suggest a bright afternoon in early summer.
