Beschreibung
Manorbier in Pembrokeshire opens around a quiet sandy crescent, where a flower-lined coastal path overlooks mauve water and green cliffs beneath the orange clouds of a summer sunset.
Manorbier occupies a narrow valley on the south Pembrokeshire coast, shaped by two streams. A medieval castle overlooks the beach, and Gerald of Wales was born there. Coastal paths connect the village with red sandstone cliffs and the prehistoric burial chamber known as King’s Quoit.
A narrow earth path curves through golden grass and white flowers towards a broad sweep of sand. Fine white wave lines curl over mauve and peach water, repeating the colours of the evening sky. Across the bay, green fields top low reddish cliffs, with a small group of white houses catching the last warm light.
