Beschreibung
Driesh rises above Glen Clova in Angus, a rounded Munro linked with Mayar by broad high ground where open moorland and shifting cloud shadows define the southern Cairngorm landscape.
The 947 metre summit is commonly climbed together with neighbouring Mayar from Glen Doll. Routes cross the dramatic hollow of Corrie Fee before gaining the open plateau, with a connecting ridge providing a link between these two accessible Munros above the Angus glens.
Driesh forms a softly domed summit beyond low rolling foreground slopes. Red brown vegetation and golden grass spread across the hillside, interrupted by broad blue green shadows. Pale angular rocks lie near the bottom edge, while more distant hills appear at the left. The snowless ground and warm moorland colours suggest autumn under a clear sky with large cream clouds.
