Beschreibung
An Sgarsoch in Perthshire spreads a rounded crown beyond rolling moor and a blue burn, with high snow patches under scattered clouds on a bright afternoon during late spring.
An Sgarsoch reaches 1,006 metres in the remote country between the Mounth and Cairngorms. Long approaches reach the mountain from every direction. A common outing pairs it with Càrn an Fhìdhleir from the Linn of Dee, while alternatives cross Glen Feshie or follow Glen Tilt from Blair Atholl.
Rounded gold and green hills overlap towards a broad upper skyline holding thin patches of snow. A pale line climbs the central mountain slope beyond lower knolls scattered with grey rock. Blue water winds between grassy banks and dark heather in the foreground. White clouds over the snow flecked distant heights suggest a clear afternoon during the late spring thaw.
