Beskrivning
Inver follows a low curving shoreline towards pale houses, with small anchored boats, exposed seaweed and warm evening reflections spreading across the sheltered water below distant Highland hills.
Along the sea-front at Inver, the settlement sits just above the waterline on the right. The curve of the shore draws the houses and the boats together, while open water fills the left side. The warm light leaves the exposed beach and stone bank clearly visible, keeping the quiet waterfront close at hand.
A bank of angular stones separates short turf from the narrow shore. Small craft rest at different distances from the beach, their dark hulls catching orange light. Across the water, low purple slopes form an unbroken edge beneath thin layers of cloud.
