The room is filled with domestic and scientific details, including books, rolls of cloth, scientific instruments, and a small telescope mounted on a stand.\n\nBrown chose this subject to celebrate the scientific history of Manchester. The lighting is specific, with a single beam of sunlight entering through a small aperture to create the projection.
